Kristjana Friðbjörnsdóttir was born in Reykjavik on the 11th of January 1976.
She graduated from high school in 1996 and in 1999 she graduated with a B.Ed. degree from the Iceland University of Education.
She used to work as teacher for years but focuses now on writing fiction for kids of all ages, creating curriculum worksheets on her own educational website, www.123skoli.is as well as various textbooks for The Icelandic Directorate of Education.
Kristjana lives in Grafarvogur, a suburb of the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik. She has a husband, two teenage boys, two lazy dogs and two demanding cats.
Kristjana is an author who takes the readers on adventurous journeys and makes them laugh their head off.
